This summer in our corner of Southeast Alaska has so far been one of the windiest in local memory. We've had 3-4 kitable days almost every week for the last couple of months. Some days have been TOO windy!
We've also had the luxury of picking and choosing our sessions instead of taking every opportunity. The result has been some sunny, fun sessions on perfect tides. The only bummer is that our local crew has been dispersed to various summer activities so I have done much of my kiting this summer alone. I am sure that as the foul fall conditions start to kick in, I'll have more company, but in the meantime, it's just sweet to be out.
